London’s skyline and the Thames provide the perfect photographic backdrop for couples seeking a ‘city chic’ wedding venue with a difference. Once your vows have been taken in our licensed venue you will step out onto The Deck's private outdoor terrace where you can enjoy champagne with your closest friends and family, high above London’s vibrant South Bank.

The National Theatre is on the South Bank, just minutes from Covent Garden, the West End and Waterloo. The main entrance is on the riverside walkway.
We strongly recommend that you travel to the National by public transport if you can, especially at the weekend: there are temporarily fewer spaces in the car park beneath the building.

Parking near this location

If you need to come by car, dropping off guests at ground level will be difficult so please go straight to the car park if possible. Car Park – National Theatre basement, accessed from Upper Ground Opening times are 7am to 1am. The entrance ramp to the car park has been permanently relocated to the south west corner of the National Theatre, on Upper Ground. Until NT Future works are completed, temporary signage will be used to make the new entrance as clear as possible. Please note that the exit ramp will remain in its original position, exiting on the east side of the building, onto Upper Ground.
