The Deck is the perfect choice for exciting press events and product launches: a blank canvas venue that can be themed to complement a product, whether you are launching a perfume, a cruise liner, a fashion collection or an electrical product. The Deck hire fee includes our standard audio-visual equipment including a speaker’s platform. If you require audio-visual equipment in addition to that which is already provided we would be happy to source this for you or discuss using an external supplier. If an external supplier is used, a National Theatre audio-visual technician must be booked to oversee.

The National Theatre is on the South Bank, just minutes from Covent Garden, the West End and Waterloo. The main entrance is on the riverside walkway.
We strongly recommend that you travel to the National by public transport if you can, especially at the weekend: there are temporarily fewer spaces in the car park beneath the building.

Parking near this location

If you need to come by car, dropping off guests at ground level will be difficult so please go straight to the car park if possible. Car Park – National Theatre basement, accessed from Upper Ground Opening times are 7am to 1am. The entrance ramp to the car park has been permanently relocated to the south west corner of the National Theatre, on Upper Ground. Until NT Future works are completed, temporary signage will be used to make the new entrance as clear as possible. Please note that the exit ramp will remain in its original position, exiting on the east side of the building, onto Upper Ground.
