One of England’s most beloved stately homes, Knebworth House is famous worldwide for its rock concerts and as the home of Victorian novelist Edward Bulwer Lytton. This beautiful gothic mansion is situated 29 miles north of London off the A1(M) at Stevenage.

Knebworth Park offers a great day out for the family or corporate customer, with super historic venues, and lots to do for all ages, including a walk through history in Knebworth House and Gardens and special events throughout the summer.  Our licensed restaurant offers a delicious selection of home-made and locally sourced lunch and teatime treats, and superlative catering for those imporatant private and corporate events!

Knebworth House & Park are accessed direct from the Junction 7 roundabout of the A1(M) motorway at Stevenage South, 29 miles north of London. There are signs on both carriageways of the motorway. Plenty of free parking. If you are using a Sat Nav system use the post code of the Stevenage Novotel at Junction 7 – SG1 2AX – not the Knebworth House post code.

By Rail

The nearest rail station is Stevenage, two miles Knebworth Park. There is a taxi rank at the station. Non-stop Inter-City and local services run to Stevenage station from London’s Kings Cross station around every 30 minutes.
