Braxted Park is a licensed venue able to offer a variety of different sized rooms within the main house and renovated walled garden, with capacity ranging from 30 to 350 guests. Situated within the Estate itself is the local parish church of All Saints, which offers the opportunity of holding your entire wedding in one location.

Braxted Park benefits from an idyllic location in the heart of the Essex countryside. It is a wedding venue near Colchester and Chelmsford and thanks to excellent transport links we are within easy reach of London, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Kent.

Lying in 500 acres of walled parkland between the A12 dual carraigeway at Rivenhall, and Great Braxted.

Directions from London / Chelmsford

On A12 heading towards Colchester it is important to by-pass Witham completely. Ignore all signs off the A12 until you see the sign to Rivenhall and Silver End. The major landmark is the left turn off the A12 by a large disused pub called the Fox. Take this turning signed to Rivenhall and Great Braxted. If you get to the Kelvedon turn off you have gone too far.

Come to a T Junction: Turn Right following signs to Great Braxted and Witham. (You will see a brown sign for Braxted Park). Go under A12. Exactly 1 mile after taking the right turn and after going over a little hump backed bridge, you will encounter the Braxted Park Wall for the first time. Follow the sign to Braxted Park Estate (NOT Braxted Park Golf Course). i.e. follow road round to right leaving the wall on your left.

Exactly ½ mile later you will see the entrance to Braxted Park Estate. Enter the estate, come down the drive and park in the car park. The Estate Office can be found to the left of the archway closest to the main house.

Directions from Colchester

On A12 after going past Kelvedon take turning to Rivenhall and Great Braxted by the Rivenhall Hotel, just after the BP service Station. At T junction turn right, sign to Great Braxted. Follow that road until you go over the humped-back bridge just after which you encounter the Braxted Park Wall. Then follow diections as per above.

Directions from Stansted Airport

From Stansted Airport head on the A120 towards Braintree. After approximately 20 miles there will be a roundabout with a McDonalds sign on the right hand side of the road, take the third exit into Long Green, after a mile turn left into Lanham Green road (signposted Bradwell & Silver End). After 0.4 miles turn right (before the water tower). Keep on this road through Silver End and Rivenhall for 6.1 miles. Turn left on Park. Please note from the Commodity Centre, park entrance is 0.6 miles.
