Three of Prested’s handsome reception rooms and the gazebo outside are licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can choose where you want your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening entertainment, and you can dress the house in your own way. Summer weddings include the use of a traditional marquee on the lawn.

 

As a Prested couple, you will be offered a bespoke menu approach or a selection of appetizing menus.

Extra options include the peresteda apartments offering extra accommodation for up to 20 people in Prested’s health club building, we also have an Elemis spa, and a hair and beauty salon for your wedding preparations and for use on the day.

By Car

From London and the south:  join M25 (avoiding congested A12 south of M25), and exit at Junction 28, following A12 northbound (direction Chelmsford, Colchester).  After approx 45 mins, pastChelmsford and Witham, exit at Kelvedon.  Stay on road for 2 miles through Kelvedon and Feering.  On leaving houses behind, veer right,  following signs to Prested Hall.Watch for traffic  from the left before crossing over into the drive.From Colchester and the north: Follow A12 south past Mark’s Tey, taking Kelvedon/Tiptree sliproad.  Entrance to Prested Hall is on the slip road.From Stansted Airport: Take A120 eastbound towards Braintree/Colchester/Harwich.  After Bradwell Village take right turn to Coggeshall.  Follow road through and out of village (about 2 miles), turning right to (slightly concealed) lane to Feering.  After approx 2 miles at T junction turn left.  Soon veer off to the right, following signs to Prested Hall.Watch for traffic from the left before crossing over into the drive.CONTINUE UP THE DRIVE TO THE HALL AND CLUB BEYOND.SPACE
