Kachette, Old Street

Kachette is a historic railway arch venue located on one of the busiest streets in London, Old Street. The venues beautiful black gate entrance opens into the original ticket hall of the former Shoreditch Station which operated from 1865 to 1940. A picturesque vintage clock is visible on entrance into the foyer of Arch 1 which splits into two low ceiling arches with exposed Victorian brickwork, industrial lighting trusses and PA sound-system. The venue also features a cast iron spiral staircase leading to the production office, ducted air conditioning and heating in both arches, ample bathrooms with disabled facilities, a cloakroom and an outdoor courtyard for loading and catering. The versatile dry hire venue is licensed for ceremonies and receptions and can cater for 60 to 115 seated guests or 180 to 330 guests for a standing reception.
