Great Dunmow Maltings

The restored Great Dunmow Maltings is now a popular venue for private hire events as well as business meetings, conferences and educational courses.

Facilities on the first floor include The Maltings Meeting Room which features the original timber frame structure of the building. This room provides some 85sq.m. of unrestricted floorspace and is readily adaptable to either a formal meeting layout seating up to 70 delegates - or to a working group format based on tables of eight.

The Resource Room makes an ideal venue for smaller committee meetings with seating capacity for up to 15 people plus two supplementary work stations.

Both rooms have full wireless superfast broadband capability. The Maltings Meeting Room is equipped with loop amplification and has projection facilities available. The Resource Room has integral LCD screen presentation technology.

 

An adjacent kitchen is equipped with crockery and equipment, including a microwave oven, refrigerator and water boiler; available for delegates' use. For more comprehensive catering requirements, the Maltings Centre has established connections with several local suppliers who can cater for a wide range of needs.
