Bluebird’s experienced wedding planner will manage your day from the initial enquiry through to the big day itself assisting with everything from menu planning, décor, flowers, printing of menus, table plans, place cards and much more.

About Civil Ceremonies

You are free to get married or form a civil partnership at any venue within england or wales which is licensed for civil ceremonies, bluebird chelsea is. both of you are required, under law, to give notice in person. Once you have given notice, your details will be displayed at that register office for a period of fifteen days. On the sixteenth day after giving notice, the authorities for your ceremony to take place will be issued and yourceremony will be free to go ahead. your authorities will state the venue for your ceremony and are valid for twelve months. If you change your venue or your authorities have expired you will both need to go back into theregister office in order to give fresh notice.

Weddings in the Restaurant at Bluebird

For weddings from 90 to 230 guests, you can hire out the first floor Restaurant and Bar exclusively for a breathtaking wedding reception. Bluebird’s iconic brassiere and cocktail bar on the 1st floor can be transformed from restaurant to wedding reception heaven. With all the furniture removable, we bring in large round tables, dance floors, stages for live bands, photo booths all to make the most ideal wedding venue in London. Enjoy drinks and canapes in the main bar to the sounds of acoustic live music, followed by a bespoke wedding breakfast in therestaurant followed by an evening of live music, DJ, dancing, with the possibility of dessert stations, cheese boards, evening snacks including baconbutties to go.

Alternatively host your wedding ceremony in the main restaurant for up to 230 guests, proceed to the Bluebird Dining rooms for a drinks reception and then come back to the restaurant forthe dinner dance. Bluebird’s Head Chef Matthew Robinson will work to create a unique bespoke menu for your wedding. From beef wellingtons carved at the table to D.I.Y Eton Mess, we go above and beyond to make your day special and above all personal.

There are no hire fee’s, simply minimum spends to be reached on food and drinks. Candles, tealights, table tops, all elements of printing menus, place cards, table plans – are all included, as well as personal and attentive wedding and event planning.
